The NSF was born out of love of hotrods, car kulture, cycling, and the simplicity of the single speed. I have wanted a Blkmrkt frame we could use for daily transportation without the constant SPRINT…COAST…SPRINT…COAST.
Now we’ve come up with the NSF, or as it’s been referred to as… “The Road Bike With a Mustache.”
The NSF is designed to be more comfortable than a traditional fixie’, with enough space to let you throw the bars and super short chainstays. So short in fact, we scalloped the seat tube in true rat rod fashion. This is also one of the first road frames to use the Taper Lock drop out system. This simple system eliminates the need for a chain tensioner and keeps your wheel in place with the use of 2 TaperLock washers.
