The RULES
• Choose Men’s or Women’s division
• Choose from available heat / time
• Bicycle must be Single Speed (fixed or freewheel) only
(GEARED BIKES MUST SHOW PROOF THAT SHIFTING IS COMPLETELY DISABLED)
• Human powered only
• One run per ticket purchase
• Top 16 qualifiers in each division compete in bracketed elimination round
• Dog Tags, a Black Market Bicycle Co. NSF frame and 40oz. fork + $100 Cash to Men’s first and Women’s first place
The Throne
• The fastest male and female competitor is crowned and granted
occupation of “The Throne” at the end of each heat
• Prize Shwag awarded to throne occupants (mens / womens) at the end of each heat
until time is bested and occupant is “de-throned”
CHOOSE YOUR GEAR WISELY.
The straight is approximately 1000 feet in length over a slight incline.
Racers are limited to one gear. Gear strategy is crucial.
Just to give you an idea of how highly contested the “Dog Tags” are, there are over 200 men signed up for the 1000′ long balls out sprint… This is gonna hurt.
