This shredumentary follows a group of X-Fusion sponsored riders/employees as they pack up their gear and head south for a week of nonstop riding in Southern California. Their mission was to put the entire X-Fusion line to the test and have a damn good time doing it.

Starting off the week in Fontana at Southern California’s premier regional race series the X-Fusion crew handled some wet weather before Xploiting the rest of the week’s So Cal sun. Racing, shredding endless single track, sun sets, snowy jumps, big whips, epic XC, high speed dh, and good times is what this video brings. Sit back and take it in with this teaser to the short film that will be released later this spring.

“X Gon Give It to You” will premier at Taipei Show within the X-Fusion booth. It makes it’s US premier at the Sea Otter Classic.

A big congratulations goes out to our own Jake Kinney whose 3rd place finish on Saturday’s Pro 4X Final
took him up a step on the podium from 3rd to 2nd overall in the 2011Southridge USA Winter Series.

Here’s Jake’s Race Report:

So this was the last race in the Fontana winter series, there were 8 pros signed up and again we had another pretty stacked group. In my first moto I had Blake Carney, Jarrod Jakubiak, Lear Miller and myself. In this heat donnie was only taking first place to the final, the other 2 would have to race again…

Out of the first corner Blake had the advantage, and no room for passing, that’s the way it would gown down to the hill with Blake moving to the finals. We pushed back up for the moto 2.

In my second moto, I had Mark Shaw and one other rider who’s name I never got. Again Donnie was only taking one to the finals. I had a great snap out of the gate and secured the inside line in the first corner and took the lead and ran it all the way down the track.
Blake leads with Jake sliding into 2nd out of turn 1…

In the Finals Blake Carney choose the inside… lane 1, Alan Hudson lane 2, Lear Miller lane 3, myself lane 4. The gate droped and Blake had pulled the inside line so I came over from lane 4 and ended up 3rd out of corner. Blake led the race down the track but with Alan in fornt of me I was looking for any open line to take. It came real close with a sprint to the finish, Just almost getting Alan by half a wheel. So it ended up 1 Blake, 2 Alan, 3 Jake, 4 Lear.

With that placing I ended up taking second overall for the Winter Series. Overall standings went 1 Blake Carney, 2 Jake Kinney, 3 Jarrod Jakubiak.  I am very happy with the podium finish and excited for more to come this year.

Jake…

Blake leads the men’s final thru the rhythm section.
BTW… 3 out of the 4 pros in the final were blkmrkt mounted.

Seriously!!! Now my first thoughts when I received entry and saw the photos of this bike were… “What the hell is really going on here???
Did a couple of creative and bored Austrian bike shop mechanics break into the shops weight watchers cabinet and just build the lightest thing they could with no intention of ever riding it??? Foam grips… Carbon bar and weird uncut road fork I think but anyway… very different from what I’m used to seeing.
So, I contact the owner for some details on the bike and hopefully a bit of validation on the claim so you all know it’s legit.
The Validation starts now…
As it turns out the owner of this Mob is WRC Rally Driver Kris Rosenberger who had this built as his pumptrack bike and claims “It rolls like crazy.”

It looks very twitchy and fast… I’m just happy it will have a real bar & stem soon 😉

Your Black Market cockpit controls are on the way…

Adam and Nick got together and shot a few photos of Adam’s NSF… this ride has been seeing a lot of miles since Adam’s wrist surgery’s last year. He’s finally healing up, no longer in pain and just waiting for the Dr.’s OK to ride again. That may happen on the 22nd of this month… I know he’s got to be going crazy and ready to shred. Good luck to him and thanks for the pics Nick.

While some of our UK connections were in town, we went on a mission to get a shot down at the famous Home Ave Ditch. Of course, we had to bring Jake “Slay Anything” Kinney along. Needless to say, he produced a clean table out of possibly the sketchiest quarter available. “Tricks are for kids, Style is forever!”

Dennis Langenstam sent in this sick photo of him wayyyy out of the Whistler skatepark quarter…

So, on top of the Farm Jam photos Karl sent me this morning… they were closely followed by 2 other e mails. First was the one with these 2 pics…
Karl is definitely one of the only if not only 26″ riders to hit Cam White’s trails and he did it during
 Cam White’s Hillside Jam.
Karl sends a backie over the 35′ trick set… no thanks.

Then he sends these!!! As it turns out… Karl has been riding the Giants of Dirt project trails with Dane Searles

Nice work Karl!!!

Just your normal, everyday session at the Santa Cruz step-up. Top-notch riding from: Jack Fogelquist, Kyle Jameson, Greg Watts, Jacob “COB” Hyde, Tyler McCaul and Max. Filming is always at the highest quality when Justin Brantley is behind the camera. Oh yea, just wait for Watts to end the video for you!
