A great all-street edit from the Palms Cycle team. I still don’t know how people can trick a fixie like they do, and probably never will. That’s why I sit back and enjoy watching them do it for me! Riders: Luke Torchin, Nick Agnew, Michael Chacon, and Packy Golan

I just got word from our distributor in New Zealand that their Black Market supported rider, Conor MacFarlane will be coming to the US and Canada to compete and see what we have to ride and from what I’ve seen from Conor, he’s not scared to throw down.

Conor Mcfarlane almost rode alway from this frontie off a flat drop during his win of the
2011 Unit Farm Jam in NZ.

Here in Whistler it has been a pretty miserable winter for me. there is more snow then I have ever seen, and I have been to strapped for cash to travel some where warm to ride. I ended up having to go down to Vancouver this past week, unfortunately there was only heavy rain in the forecast so the bike stayed at home. on Wednesday the sun ended up poking though the clouds and i got a call from my buddy Reece Wallace, ” yo bud lets ride” unfortunately I didn’t have a bike… lucky for me though Reece was nice enough to offer me his killswitch to ride. so I grabbed my old moto helmet out of the barn and I got my first ride of the year in! I got one shot that Reece took, not the best but what ever! i was just stoked to get out and ride!

Just to clarify, I posted before the wrong results of the jam on accident. The current standings are correct, and Black Market’s own Conor MacFarlane took the win!
Unit just wrapped up their 2011 Farm Jam, and Allan Hardy was on hand to document the event. This video contains the 3 essentials for a good time; great filming, solid riding, and perfect dirt jumps. Enjoy!

This shredumentary follows a group of X-Fusion sponsored riders/employees as they pack up their gear and head south for a week of nonstop riding in Southern California. Their mission was to put the entire X-Fusion line to the test and have a damn good time doing it.

Starting off the week in Fontana at Southern California’s premier regional race series the X-Fusion crew handled some wet weather before Xploiting the rest of the week’s So Cal sun. Racing, shredding endless single track, sun sets, snowy jumps, big whips, epic XC, high speed dh, and good times is what this video brings. Sit back and take it in with this teaser to the short film that will be released later this spring.

“X Gon Give It to You” will premier at Taipei Show within the X-Fusion booth. It makes it’s US premier at the Sea Otter Classic.

A big congratulations goes out to our own Jake Kinney whose 3rd place finish on Saturday’s Pro 4X Final
took him up a step on the podium from 3rd to 2nd overall in the 2011Southridge USA Winter Series.

Here’s Jake’s Race Report:

So this was the last race in the Fontana winter series, there were 8 pros signed up and again we had another pretty stacked group. In my first moto I had Blake Carney, Jarrod Jakubiak, Lear Miller and myself. In this heat donnie was only taking first place to the final, the other 2 would have to race again…

Out of the first corner Blake had the advantage, and no room for passing, that’s the way it would gown down to the hill with Blake moving to the finals. We pushed back up for the moto 2.

In my second moto, I had Mark Shaw and one other rider who’s name I never got. Again Donnie was only taking one to the finals. I had a great snap out of the gate and secured the inside line in the first corner and took the lead and ran it all the way down the track.
Blake leads with Jake sliding into 2nd out of turn 1…

In the Finals Blake Carney choose the inside… lane 1, Alan Hudson lane 2, Lear Miller lane 3, myself lane 4. The gate droped and Blake had pulled the inside line so I came over from lane 4 and ended up 3rd out of corner. Blake led the race down the track but with Alan in fornt of me I was looking for any open line to take. It came real close with a sprint to the finish, Just almost getting Alan by half a wheel. So it ended up 1 Blake, 2 Alan, 3 Jake, 4 Lear.

With that placing I ended up taking second overall for the Winter Series. Overall standings went 1 Blake Carney, 2 Jake Kinney, 3 Jarrod Jakubiak.  I am very happy with the podium finish and excited for more to come this year.

Jake…

Blake leads the men’s final thru the rhythm section.
BTW… 3 out of the 4 pros in the final were blkmrkt mounted.
